Some florists learn flowers Claudia Tararache learned to feel them.

Born in Romania, Claudia stepped into floristry almost by accident—but it only took one moment in a flower shop for everything to click. The scent, the colours, the chaos, the calm… it felt like a fairytale she never wanted to leave. And she didn’t. What started as curiosity inside her family’s flower shop quickly turned into obsession, discipline, and craft. Over time, she transformed from shop-floor florist into an international floral designer with a very recognisable signature: structured, layered, detailed work where emotion and technique are always in conversation.

Claudia doesn’t just arrange flowers—she constructs them. Her Romanian roots are visible in everything she creates: a deep connection to nature, a love of craftsmanship, and an almost architectural attention to detail. Forests, mountains, open landscapes—this is where her ideas come from, and it shows in the depth and layering of her work.

Inside her family business in Constanța, floristry is both daily reality and creative laboratory. Commercial bouquets one moment, experimental design the next. That balance shaped her ability to move between emotion and structure without losing either. Then came the world stage.

In 2025, Claudia became the first Romanian ever to compete in the World Cup Floral Art in The Hague, finishing an impressive 9th place among the world’s best. A result that didn’t just mark her career—it marked her country’s place in modern floral design history. But for Claudia, it was never just about ranking. It’s about emotion.

Every design she creates carries intention: contrast between softness and structure, light and shadow, control and freedom. Floral work that feels like it’s thinking while it blooms. Because for Claudia, flowers aren’t decoration. They’re language. Memory. And movement.
