Kövér Krisztián

Some florists arrange flowers. Kövér Krisztián builds entire botanical worlds. Based in Hungary, Krisztián is a master florist, educator, and entrepreneur behind Botanic Art—a creative studio where floristry becomes installation, storytelling, and spatial design all at once. But his path didn’t start in a studio. It started in a flower shop—his mother’s. From there, things escalated quickly.

With over 20 years of experience in floristry, Krisztián built a career across multiple flower shops in Budapest, competitions, teaching, and international design work. He is a Hungarian Champion (2018) and has been repeatedly recognised for his creative and technical excellence in floral design. His signature is instantly recognisable: wild nature, but controlled. Raw botanical energy, but structured like architecture.

He describes his work as visual storytelling—where flowers are not just decoration, but language. Every composition is built with intention: colour, form, and texture used consciously to create emotion and atmosphere rather than just arrangement. Through Botanic Art, he works on everything from intimate events to large-scale installations, always chasing one idea: make nature feel designed—but never tamed.

He is also an international ambassador for leading floral brands and part of the global floral education and demo circuit, where his style is known for being expressive, natural, and slightly untamed in the best way. Because for Krisztián, flowers are not static objects. They are living material for building experiences.
